Full Version: Deb Kinney's stub nibs

I recently ordered a custom grind from Deb Kinney. I sent her my Omas Paragon with B nib and asked her to transform this into a medium stub.
Well, yesterday I got my pen back, about a week after I had sent it to her. The nib was rather boring and dull before I sent it in. Now it is absolutely fantastic. Great line variation coupled with the highest ease of use. There is no roughness to this nib. It catches at all times. And my handwriting looks very nice to me. This nib has great character and writes almost like an italic nib with none of the roughness that they come with usually.

I am absolutely thrilled by this nib and will try to post some images of the pen (it's the nice saffron blue color), the nib and a writing sample soon.

What a great recommendation! Do post a writing sample. It would be good to see how the nib writes. Thanks. smile.gif

I have a Deb Kinney narrow cursive italic on my Talentum and a med. cursive italic on my Van Gogh, which were both
ground last fall. Lots of line variation and smooth.....I love em'.

Just wanted to say I'm another one that's happy with Deb's nib grinding.

I also have several nibs customized by Deb, including stubs and cursive italics, and they are all wonderful. I highly recommend Deb for nib customization and general service.
