Got one off eBay after a minor bidding war.

Did the test of filling with water and then quickly pushing the plunger in. Water came out in a nice steady stream, so I went for the gusto and put some Private Reserve Tanzanite in.

Very nice smooth line off it. The pen is now sitting wrapped in paper towels just in case. I will let it sit that way overnight and see the results.

If it filled properly on the downstroke, it won't leak. Lovely pens, I have too many.

All is well, and this one has the favourite stroke of my limited collection of pens! Smooth, even, dark without flowing through the paper...beautiful!
