Returned tonight. I promise a lengthy report tomorrow or the day after. It was a spectacular show. What fun to meet with old friends and to make new ones! The highlights:

Meeting and spending time with DennisU!

Hamilton/Tyree 4 hour repair seminar. Part 1, how to take apart your pens. Now I need to enroll in part 2 - putting them back together. wallbash.gif Seriously, great class. Want more.

Meeting Evan - what an incredible young man!

Maille Order By Margaret - I think I spent more money on jewelry than I did on pens. (although I'm embarrassed at how many pens I bought. Where is that pens anonymous site? It sure isn't this one!) I'm not big on jewelry, but these pieces really spoke to me, and Margaret is a gem (pun intended)!

Putting the names and faces to other members (and hoping those names come back to me when I'm awake).

Hi Elaine,

Glad you had a great time! I am looking forward to your report to help me with my penshow withdrawal! smile.gif

Her jewelery is beautiful. I was so tempted! And I had no idea that there is such a thing as non-tarnishing silver. She has a Web site where you can view but not order her work at www.mailleorder.com.

As a first-timer, I got overwhelmed and have just realized wallbash.gif that I didn't see John Mottishaw's table. Darn. It was a great experience and I'm looking forward to reading your account for tips on what I'll need to see next year. (This year I just sort of wandered around with a glazed but excited look on my face.)

Argh...wish I'd been able to attend. Sounds like it was a great time!

I'm right there with you... I could not attend yet again, *sigh*. However, I'm definitely going to be at the NY/NJ show. It's only 20 minutes from where I live, so I've got no exuses. wink.gif

Would have loved to attend myself, maybe next year! I hopefully will be at the Michigan show though which should be fun!
