I was coveting pens online yesterday, when I saw that Swisher had Parker 100 FPs on clearance for $168 - a good price for new. I was curious and checked the Parker site where I found no mention of the 100. Does anyone know if this line been discontinue? If the Parker site is to be believed this would be the end of numbered Parker lines - a sad event I think.
A cobalt black 100 with silver trim BP has been my workaday BP for years (no grief please, I'm ecumenical on pen types) - it will shortly have a matching FP to keep it company.

They will be discontinued in Europe at the end of 2007, in USA I don't know, J.M.L.

I was talking to the Canadian rep for Waterman and Parker and he said the 100 was a dud in terms of sales and was discontinued in Canada.
Parker seems to have challenge filling that price point between the Sonnet and the Duofold.

Just taking a wild guess here but doesn't the duofold mini sorta fill in the gap between the sonnet and the duofold?
Thanks
