Hello,
I have around 6 skyline on it's way from ebay for restoration. I am wondering what J-bar is used to replace a corroded one.
Thanks

I'm afraid the answer might be, "one from another Skyline". Apparently there were 3 different Skyline pressure-bar designs over the years, and they seem to have been made for the pen. I think in some, the lever is attached to the pressure bar.
Maybe someone has experience retrofitting standard j-bars to Skylines..?

When I was looking in Da book, it mentions diagram of different pressure bar for the skyline, but not how to repair one using a ''modern'' J bar.
One had a model folded like a V and the other had circular arms that would go around the sac.
I was wondering if it would be possible to adapt the shape of a new J bar to for a v shape at the top. Probably using the longest bar so it can sit at the end of the barrel...
Oh well, I guess i'll wait and see.

And I'm the "lucky" owner of a demi Skyline with a very early pressure bar not mentioned in Da Book, which apparently can't be removed by ordinary mortals :/ .
