Here are five Chinese pens that I bought – among many others – in a fit of insanity of a kind familiar to those of you in this forum.
All have original boxes. 1, 2, 4, and 5 are uninked. I just didn’t – as the Brits say – “fancy them” when I looked at the them. They’re of evident quality.
The 3rd one I tried but didn’t like. The top takes too much pressure to snap on, and the nib is ordinary in the way it feels. It’s been used, like, three times.
1. This is a Fuliwen, chrome with vertical black stripes and has a squeeze, Aerometric-like filler system. “M” on the nib.
2. This is a Haololai, twist filler (probably removable), M nib that says 22k gold. Nice gold-brown mottled translucent lacquer. Heavy for its size. Probably the nicest of the lot.
3. Is a BAOER 301, twist filler (probably removable). Heaviesh, good-sized plain black pen. Nib is on the fine side of medium. Comes in a Duke box.
4. This is a Fuliwen that has a twist filler system that seems permanent. “M” on the nib. Nicely made.
5. This is also a Fuliwen, chrome with black ornamented lacquer on it. Less slim than #1 and also has a squeeze, Aerometric-like filler system. “M” on the nib.
If you want these let me know. I’m new to the FPN, but well-established on eBay (as Dogman7) and Amazon, Albris, and Abe Books (as Nigel Duncan Books.)
