Hi,
Spent a while searching but couldn't find an answer, are these nibs friction or screw fit and how easy are they to change?
Thanks

Hi Andy,
They are friction fit, they come out on a knock out block, they can be a very tight fit.

Just to second what John wrote, Duofold NS nibs are very long so indeed the fit can be very tight!

Thanks, I might try messing about with a badly damaged one first. I have several of these and a couple have good bodies/bent nibs and others decent nibs scratched bodies so I thought I might try swapping around.
Assuming I do get the nibs out, would it be a good idea to use a bit of silicon grease when I put back or best not to?

Hi Andy,
I'd avoid the silicone grease, it is liquid repellant and not a good idea in this appplication. When you refit the nib and feed try wetting the inside of the section bore with water, it will usually provide sufficient lubrication, if it doesn't try a very little liquid soap as when you flush the pen through it will wash away, if it doesn't it will improve the ink flow anyway.
Cheers, John
