Okay, so I have plenty, and I want to share. But I screwed up. The containers I got screwed into each other, rather than having lids of their own (it was a stackable pill case sorta thing, and I was dumb). So, I have one jar to start, and I will have plenty more later this week if I can find suitable alternatives. But I have one at least to start! You should be able to do a hundred or so pens with this little jar, so it's great for some at home resac'ing (I'm gonna guess and say that it's 1-2oz, give or take, and the baggies might actually get more than that, since I'll toss several spoonfuls in). I will take orders on until baggies, jars (once I have them), or talc run out. Baggies of talc will ship out immediately, jars obviously will have to wait till I get them.

$5.00 shipped OR $4.00 shipped in a ziplock baggie and you can put it in your own container. Otherwise, I'll have more in jars later.

I prefer to only ship domestically, but if you are elsewhere, contact me and we can likely deal, just know additional shipping costs will be on you then. I do love PayPal, just so you know. Feel free to fire off additional questions, because buyers will take item as is. Price includes shipping CONUS.

As for rep, feel free to review me on eBay. That said, I also use a new online reputation system known as RapLeaf. If you have an account there, I'll be happy to trade feedback. If you don't, I would encourage you to get an account and start.

Maybe I overestimated the value of my wonderful talc. I have adjusted it to encourage you.

just a newbi question what do you use talc for in the pen world
Quicksilver
When you replace a sac in a vintage pen, you dust the sac to make it easier to slide in, and provide some lubrication between the sac and pressure bar.

how much shipped to Oz for the 2 options...?

just bought some locally from a shop selling handmade cosmetic supplies... sold as pure-nothing-but-pure-talc... but it definitely seems to smell of a VERY faint perfume smell a little like orris root... so do not wish to risk using it

Hmm, interesting idea shipping little baggies of white powder around the country. Let us know if anything interesting comes of it...

You are asking for trouble mailing white powder. in bags.
Even if it isn't suspected drugs, should one break you will have a terror alert!

In the UK a batch of powder in bags from a water company (for toilet cisterns) caused a few panics.

I'd be very careful to mark the envelopes with a contact number and what is inside!!!

TrevorML: I will check on those shipping costs, though I would suspect it might be cheaper to find a supplier there who could order it for you.

As for the mailing baggies, my girlfriend and I joked about that same thing. In all seriousness though, I will clearly label everything and include documentation. It is, after all, just talc. But, this is why I would recommend waiting till I get some little jars. The baggies would be for the people who either need it now, or want to save a buck. But I do have one jar still available right now!
