One pen maker you just don't seem to hear about that often is Carter's, the old ink company that jumped in to the ever burgeoning pen market in the mid-1920's with some really fine writing instruments. Unfortunately they got out of the pen market some time in the 1930's & went back to their forte, ink & related items (Great graphics on a lot of their ink bottle labels & boxes!
Carter's offered pens and pencils in a variety of really unusual colors supposedly not used by other companies at the time, but did utilze some of the good old standard finishes like Green Marble, which is what I'm offering today!

1,2) ((SOLD TO W.F.)) #9233 FP/PCL Ring-Top Set in Green Marble w/GF Trim and a beautiful "Pearltex" carrying case/penholder, lever fill on ther FP, twist action on the PCL, 14K-#2 size Fine Stub Semi-Flex nib (excellent flow!), FP ~4-3/8" long & PCL ~4-1/4" long, cap & barrel color still excellent except for a little darkening inside the cap at the very top, imprint still crisp on on FP barrel (PCL doesn't have one), several tiny pinpoint marks on the nosepiece of the PCL but need magnification to see them, Pearltex case still in primo condition, overall condition of this set is '"Excellent"...PenEmporium Price $75.00!
3) Streamline Ring-Top in Green Marble w/GF Trim & Black top & bottom end pieces (~4-1/2"L), 14K-#2 size Fine/Rigid nib that writes like an XF, lever fill, some brassing on trim bands, barrel color still very good except for a little bit of darkening near section threads, cap has some darkened areas near top & cap bands, imprint still strong, overall condition is "Very Good"...PenEmporium Price $65.00/Reduced to $55.00!
4) #9233 Ring-Top FP in Green Marble w/GF Trim ! (4-3/8"L), 14K-#2 size "Superwear" Fine nib that writes closer to an XF, lever filler, some brassing on cap band & lever, cap has several darkened areas on it and barrel has a few darkend spots along with a little faded but even color, overall condition is "Very Good -"...PenEmporium Price $50.00/Reeuced to $40.00!
5) #922 Slender/Full-Size FP in Gren Mbl. w/GF Trim (~5"L), 14K-#2 size Medium Stub w/great flow (very responsive), looks like one of the early Green Mbl. models from around 1926/27, lever filler, a little bit of darkening at barrel bottom & threads and near cap top, imprint still strong, some brassing on clip, cap band and lever, overall condition is "Very Good"...PenEmporium Price $80.00/Reduced to $65.00!
