I stumbled upon the Skyline below and am curious as to value and scarcity (or common-ness). I know it is a green moire (Modern Stripe). It is the full size (5.25 inches closed), and obviously it ha a wide cap band and gold filled derby. Any information/opinions would be very welcome! Thanks! Hank

Moires are all very pretty. Even the smaller size, lower end ones bring a noticeable premium. The one you show is a little more special, in the larger size and with the deluxe trim. That model is not Rare, but scarce enough that you should expect to get maybe $175-250 for it (if the clip were replaced with one that was not brassed). If you bought it to keep, you have something to be proud of. If you bought it for re-sale, don't forget to let me know that and I might er...um...er...know a good home for it.
