Does anyone know of a good source for information about Eagle pens and their various models? Thanks.

I have never found a good source for Eagle pencils and if they are related, chances are not good. I will be interested to see if anything shows up on this post.

Hi Jonro,

I can't point you toward a source for Eagle pens info directly but I can tell you that there is a tie up with Eagle pencils in that the pens were made by the Eagle Pencil co. Eagle made one of the first, some say the first commercially available cartridge pen in the closing years of the 19th century or early 20th and were still making Fps under the Eagle name into the 30s, I have a plain black with chrome trim lever filler of about mid 30s sort of date. They are, I think, better known as Epenco a name they adopted in the late 30s I believe and a search under this name will reveal more.
I think that the company disappeared into the Venus/Esterbrook combine at some point in the early 50s.

Cheers, John
