I was at Home Goods today, and spotted a Cross pen on clearance. It is the ATX Oceano Blue fountain pen. It did not come with a converter, but I'm pretty happy.

I'm thinking I might go ahead and buy an extra fine nib and converter for it.

This is my second Cross pen, and both of them have medium nibs. Does anyone have writing samples of the various nib sizes?

Sweet! I never find pens at those places. Where in the store did you find it?

I found it on one of the endcaps behind the aisle. They really do not make it easy to spot things like that. I really happened upon it. My Home Goods has an aisle or two of desk / office storage type items. It was near that area. Ironically, this store also has a stationery aisle, and has other pens there, but not the Cross ones. I don't really understand it. Now, I've sort of made a habit of checking the stationery aisle and the desk storage aisle.

I went yesterday and they had a cart with items that had not yet been put on shelves. They had several Cross leather pen cases. I resisted the urge to buy one because the leather looked kind of stiff to me, and I think I would be buying it more because it was a deal rather than because I liked it. It seems as though they are starting to get more Cross items in the store than I have seen before. Keep checking!
