I just saw the review of the Pelikan 1075 on the stylophiles site. What a pen. I am not into gold, but this could change my mind!

Pelikan would make me a very happy soul if they made another pen with a similar window in the side to view the whole mechanism. What about a silver one for us paupers!!?

Dunno that they'll ever do that, but I can tell you that the pen is not just a joy to behold, but a joy to be holding embarrassed_smile.gif

Seriously, though, Pelikan tends to be rather conservative (hell, they won't even reissue the tortoise M800), and this was a pen to mark their 75th. Maybe in twenty-two years . . .

We can dream.

That will be something special. Anyway a whole gold m1000, will certainly start at + 1000$ if not more.

Just to point it out: the 75 meant 75 years of fountain pen production. The company itself is older. It started 1838, as there are the 150 year pens M750 and M760 from 1988.

Right you are SS. The 75 refers to the firm's 75 years of pen making. Their first pen (depicted above left) came in 1929 and the M1075 in 2004.
