I will be in Aberdeen for a flying visit a week on Friday and will be able to have a brief visit to Union Street.

Is there a UK chain that I am fairly guaranteed to get a Pelikano from?

Andy, I've never seen Pelikanos on sale in any UK retail stores. You'll probably have to buy online, from somewhere like Cult Pens.

My local Waterstones bookshop has a small display case of Pelikanos by the till. Perhaps the Aberdeen branch has this as well?

Really?! I must look into that. I confess it didn't occur to me to check out a bookshop for pens, and being an habitual library user I would rarely be in there buying books.

You need to look on Waterstones as a library!!

Thanks a lot both of you. I must admit that Cult Pens has already been paid a visit.

Why Andy, you're not suggesting I carry a five-finger discount card are you?

With them, you do have the advantage of a choice of nibs and the option to get a converter at the same time - both unlikely options in a retail store, I would have thought.
