I have several pens with loose cap rings that need to be fixed. I also have a Sheaffer 1250 with a metal ring on the body that is supposed to engage the cap threads but the metal ring spins.

Can I use Capt. Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure to fix these problems? Will it fill in the spaces and thus anchor the cap rings and the thread ring?

Thought I'd ask if anybody has tried this before I start to experiment.
