hello hello

i am in need of some help. happy that i found this site, it seems like the right place.

i need help locating a blank journal. a LARGE blank journal. at least 500 pages large, or preferably 1000.

it doesn't need to be leather. it doesn't need inscribing. it doesn't need to be fancy.

i'm just about resigned in my search and have contemplated just asking kinkos to bind together 1000 blank pages but ... you know, ugh

any thoughts? suggestions? help!

(and thank you for your time)

Have you thought of creating a web site?

How about this http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.aspx?c=...113&p=32477

Although, that is 400 pages and I think that means 200 individual sheets of paper.

EDI: Oh, sorry it is lined, I see you said blank.

Have you checked at Borders? IIRC they had large 8 1/2 X 11 journals, some really thick, with a choice between lined and unlined paper (FP friendly) and cloth hard cover binding.

Can I ask a cheeky question? What exactly will you be using the journal for?

What size paper are you looking for?

Anyhow, if you are considering having a custom one made, check out the Transient Books website: http://www.transientbooks.com/customjournal3.asp

FWIW: If you want something relatively inexpensive, Levenger has their Infinity Journal Refills (600 pages/300 sheets), but they are only lined or quad. Pages are about 6"x8".

I checked this one out on line and it looks like what I am hoping to find, and good value. Has anyone actually tried one of these? How is the paper quality, how does it take ink?

Thanks,

Check out Roaring Springs Paper products. I bought a very large note book made by them and it has great paper, doesn't bleed- even when you get blots. And it's not made in China. It's not a journal but could be used as one, I'm using it to write my novel in.

I looked them up, and the largest they show is 120 pp. Can you point me to a web site? Thanks.

You didn't mention portability as a requirement, did you? (chuckle)
