Hi there

this is an early Button filler SIMPLO MB. I restored it for a customer that got it in the condition you'll see.

Nice. How did you fix the barrel?

I used an acrylic stabilizer for highly damaged stuff (I learned of that while working at a museum, it's kind of a superglue but not cyano based) I think it's made by BASF. Then shaped the barrel, then turned the missing band in solid gold and installed it by press fitting it (carefully using the cap's plastic flex ability)
