I am considering a pen purchase, and my nib options are limited. If I did purchase it would I have to return the complete pen to Chartpak for an exchange, or just the unused nib itself?

I think they require the whole pen. Turnaround back and forth was a week for me.

Yes, they do ask to send the whole pen in smile.gif but they are wonderful people to deal with, and also pick up shipping on the way back - much appreciated.

Well now this is an awkward situation. How could a person dispute it without causing problems for Chartpak? I guess I didn't see that angle on my quest for knowledge.

I am not sure of the context of this thread. I have purchased pelikans - without the nibs I wanted - then sent them off to ChartPak for the nib I wanted, I have not had any difficulties.

They do request the pen be sent, but if you're not comfortable with that, give them a call (the number is on their website) and talk to the repair department. They're the best! thumbup.gif
