Hi,

When I entered the show, I didn't know I would be taking these two pens home headsmack.gif I must admit I've been
intrigued by the Snorkel filling system. And I did want a lever fill pen. I'm fairly new to pens, so my collection is miniscule.

The red is a PFM 1 Red (1959-1963) . The other is an OS Brown Stripe Balance (1937-1941)

The nib on the OS is a Lifetime 14k gold and a white metal( I forget what its called.) I'm really thrilled about their fine condition.

They are fully restored, and ready to write. David Isaacson was very helpful.

two great pens! I personally love big Sheaffer's, have the exact same Balance pen in my collection as well, glad to hear about some purchases in Miami.

Hey, those are great looking pens! thumbup.gif I'm so glad that you're enjoying them. That's the real test.
I am currently waiting on the return of a Snorkel that was my fathers. I've sent it off for refurbishing as it has never functioned since I've had it.....very dried up. Can't wait to get it back.
