Wonderful pen! Do you know what size? International or Centenial.

I've got an international mosaic that I adore.. Sturdy writers!

I'll post a pic if you want me to when I get it. I should have it by the end of this week.

A great choice. The original nibs are large and write well. Enjoy your purchase and please do post a picture or two when you get it.

That's great. I am waiting for my first duofold also. Modern Duofold blue marbled.

I bought a Duofold and am not sure it is filling properly. It's a button-filler, right? Is there a trick to filling it? I don't see any air bubbles coming out. This is my first Duofold and first button-filler. Thanks.

Sound like it might be a problem with the filling system, I only have one Duofold Button filler (a Junior or possibly a Lady Duofold, anyway it's quite small) and this expels bubbles when put in ink or water and pressed and takes a reasonable volume of ink given it's small size.

Thanks, AndyK - I bought it in another town & was told it was in working order, but it's not. At least I know now that it SHOULD expel bubbles when it's taking up ink. Thanks again - this is my first button filler so I'm still learning about them.

I have two senior duofolds, one big red from 1923 and a lapis lazulis from 1927 and they are very good writers.

Well my Duofold came in the mail today and it's nearly perfect except some barrel discoloration, and a very small scratch. bunny01.gif But I can't get the section out of the barrel, it's a Streamline and I'm not sure if those are threaded or not? Can anyone give me some advice please. I've tried using a heat gun to loosen it up and that didn't work.

Here's some pics. I don't have any without the cap off since the section and the nib are out right now...

Thanks. Luckily all I have to do to it is replace the ink sac, which I'm having troubles finding since I don't want to put a latex one it in.
