Would anyone be kind enough to tell me what size MB compares favorably in size, length and girth, to a Pelikan M600? And to a Pelikan M800?

Thanks,
Michael

I have a Pelikan M805 and a MB 149. The 149 is around 1/4" longer than the 805, and quite a bit fatter. I use both unposted.

I would think the Pelikan M1000 is closer in size to the MB 149, and the Pelikan M800 a better match to the MB 146. I have neither a M1000 nor a 146 to say for sure.

roughly i think the 149 matches up with the M1000, the 146 with the M800 and the 144 with the M600

I can't help u with the pelikans 800 and 600 comparison. However I can compare my MB 145 with my Pelikan M405.

The MB and Pelikans have about the same thickness.
The MB is 1,5 centimeter (0,6 inch) longer with cap
The nib of the pelikan m405 is 2mm longer (0,08 inch)
The MB cap is 1 cm longer (0,4 inch)
