Hello, This is a cross post that I originally placed in the Writing Forum, but is probably more appropriate here.

I have two new Omas FP's, an Arco Milord HT and a Bologna Burkina. I have had them both for less than a month. Now, all of a sudden, they are both leaking. It looks like the leaks are around the threads just above the section, but it could be the nib leaking into the cap and getting on the threads. When I write, I look down and my fingers are stained. I keep my pens in a display case with the nib elevated about 10 degrees above the horizontal. The weather here has just turned HOT (105 today). Could this be related? Any ideas?

Thanks muchly,

d.

I could indeed also be related to the heat there. If the pen gets hotter, and the air in the ink chamber expands, it may well drive ink out the feed... maybe?
