Tryphon has this on their website, but out of stock.
Does anyone know of another source for this type of sac spreader?

Paul,

Try www.smallparts.com search for tweezers. The specific type you want is reverse acting.

I've sacs dozens of pens and have yet to need such a cumbersome looking tool for the job.

Paul:

I have the other spreader from Tryphon (the cheaper one) and it works perfectly. I would recommend it if you aren't resac'ing hundreds of pens. If you are resac'ing 100's of pens than don't worry eventually you will be good enough to not need a spreader (or so I've been told) thumbup.gif

I have only sac'ed a few pens and never found it difficult to do without a spreader... so don't even need heaps of experience

Perhaps I am more clutzy than most, but I've been using one for years and like a sac spreader. I bought this one I think from Father Terry years ago. If you that remember Father Terry will know that this probably cost something like 75¢ or so.

So I thought I might splurge on a sac spreader with slightly sharper points.

I found the exact same Teflon spreader you're asking about at MIchael's for $5 and change. Happened to see it in the crafts section
