It is not quite dark enough for me. Could I add something to it to darken it up or should I return it? I don't think I will not ever use it, but just not as much as I had planned. Thanks!

I'm too new to the world of fountain pens, but I think I read where a drop or two of black could darken the ink - I remember someone saying a little black goes a long way. Of course you need to consider ink compatibility as well. I doubt a store would take the ink back. That's actually the beauty of the ink exchange program here and of the sample ink sales that I believe Pear Tree does. (Others please correct me where I've missed the mark.) And then you could always trade or sell it if it's really not to your liking. Good luck with it. I've always wanted Copper Burst, too.

I think I'll put it up on the swap list. I would love to try Black Cherry and I saw that someone had that available.

I almost never use mine, as it looks like dirty orange. Add some Black and see what you get.
BTW, it's not worth it to return it. I probably have 6-8 inks that are really throw-aways for some reason or another.

Thank goodness for other ink lovers. I think I might have found it a new home. Thanks!
