My apartment gets really hot in the summertime. It gets so hot that last summer, several bottles of wine in our wine rack went bad. I've been storing my ink in a desk drawer, but as the temps start to soar in New York I'm concerned that it might spoil. Is the Refridgerator a good place to store ink? Can I just leave the ink in the drawer?

What color inks do you have? I may room in a fountain pen or two to store some.

I've had no problems in 98F and 98% humidity. Just don't leave the bottle on the roof!
Heads up - we may be tossing a tropical storm up the coast...

I doubt you will have a problem, assuming the ink is not stored in direct sunlight.

It gets rather hot over here in Australia too. I usually just keep my inks in their bottles on my desk, out of direct sunlight. No problems.

I agree that storing inks at room temperature out of direct sunlight should be fine. Remember that inks have been around far longer than air conditioning.
Speaking of A/C, wouldn't a small window unit help relieve some of the agony of summer? Just a friendly question, not a criticism.
