For the most part, I have favored deeply colored inks, but they are getting boring, although my staple ink is still a rich blue-black made from 1 part PR Midnight Blues and 1 part PR Black Magic Blue. One of the nice things about FPs is the seemingly endless color variation of inks. So while putting together an ink order for some reliable reds that won't clog my free-flowing pens, I splurged on some alternative colors:

Diamine Mediterranean Blue-A drop-dead gorgeous pure pastel blue. This may have to be permanently loaded in one of my pens. In my Namiki Falcon you get wonderful shading. A very summery color.
PR Naples Blue-A beautiful aqua blue color, almost teal. More blue than green, and darker than Diamine Med Blue. This is another very distinctive pastel color that might share time with Med Blue in one of my pens.
PR Sherwood Green-This ink draws many favorable comments from FPN users, so I caved in. This is a darker, purer and richer green than PR Spearmint. Sherwood Green is more Hunter Green, whereas Spearmint is less saturated and perhaps slightly more olive-y. Sherwood Green makes a distinctive alternative editing or paper-marking color.

Cheers.

The Naples Blue really is great isn't it! I will definitely call it a Turquoise and make it the end of my search for the best ink of that colour.

Enjoy!
