I own blue balance which I heard produced in only 1932 and it is very funny color
it didnt have a sac so I replaced with new one and here is my question
I use normal black rubber sac and heard it might be effect color of FP
but what I thought was ink+sweat would effect because new old stocks seem like having their own sac without being used
and of course still keeping its beatiful color
So, should I reopened the section and get rid of black rubber sac and replace it with silicone sac? will it be better?

Rubber emits a sulfurous gas that can discolor celluloid, the material the pen is made out of. Silicone sacs do not emit this gas and therefore do not discolor the pen. However, silicone sacs are harder to get to stick to the "nipple" as pen repairers call it. I hope this helps.

FYI the blue Sheaffers were prone to discoloring, so ditching the rubber sac would be wise... Jeff
