I have a Waterman 52.5 in deplorable condition (rule #1: Ask more questions on eBay).

It has a long but clean crack in the cap. I'd like to repair it/restore it eventually, as it has a style I've not seen in any of my books or the ads contained therein.

Can I syringe a thin bead of superglue into the crack and quickly wipe off the excess before it dries, or will there be a reaction with the rubber? huh.gif
