hi Columela,

The top one is one of the Imperial range post 1964 I think due to the clip, which one I can't be sure as I can't see the nib, these came with the inlaid nib and the Triumph nib.

The second one I think is one of the Stylist range I don't know the model number, again a picture of the nib would help one of the specialists as there were several different nibs used over the years.

The bottom looks to be one of the cartridge fill, so called school pens from sometime in the 60s some were open nibbed and some had a nib similar to the Imperial I. I have no idea of the sheaffer name for them, most people refer to them as shool pens.

I hope that this is of some help until one of the specialists give a firm identification for you.

Cheers, john

The 1st Pen is a Triumph and i think the Cap is from a 444XG and the barrel a 440. Probably has a Stainless Steel Nib or 23K Plate. I don't remember models with the 23K Plated clip and black barrel. Not with out the Touch down filling system Imperial version. I might be wrong though!!

This became the Triumph Imperial 2440 the versions with slightly longer clips introduced in the early 90s. Is the same as the Imperial but for some reason Sheaffer messed around with the names.

The 2nd Pen is a Lady Sheaffer 620 Model. Dates from the 1970s. Interesting nib one side is fine the other is Medium. Stainless Steel nib. This may not be the case with your but give it a shot. I'm met quite a few people who have these pens and were not aware of this feature on their pens. This is only one of a few Sheaffers that you can write sucessfully on either side of the nib, it must be said other brands did do a much better job producing nibs that can write with both sides.

I hope this helps, enjoy your new pens

regards ian
