Hello FPNers:
My wife is taking a vacation to Manhattan, NY. If she wanted to surprise me with something other than a coffee mug souvenir, what vintage pen shops would any of you recommend? Thanking you in advance.
Regards.

The Fountain Pen Hospital carries a good, if pricey, collection of vintage pens. The store is located at 10 Warren Street in the financial district.

Any brick and mortar in NY that carries vintage is going to be pricey...
I have bought from Berliner and got good value for what I bought... not inexpensive, but definitely worth the price paid

I've bought vintage pens from Fountain Pen Hospital at shows. I don't know if they're less expensive at shows, but I felt I got a lot of value for the price.
With Berliner - you need to call first.

I like Joon pens on Lexington Ave. They're so much friendlier than the people at Fountain Pen Hospital, from my experience. I once walked into FPH (my only time) and asked to see the Pelikan M200 and the guy showed it to me as if he were doing me a favor. Their ink selection is great though, which is what I ended up buying.
