This needs to be a daily workhorse pen for me. The Concerto is getting a little frayed from being around and about; rather leave it at home.
Anyone have any ideas, know of anyone.... color doesn't matter, nor do signs of use, etc, except the gold parts should be shiny and the innards should work... and the nib should be really sweet.
Thanks,
Eric

Rick Propas is a good source:
http://www.angelfire.com/mac/penguin0/ Also www.nibs.com still has some, I think.
Going price seems to be $300, if you want a 14Kt nib. It may be lower, if you'll take an 18 Kt. Either of the above sources will be sure the pen is in working order before sending it.
I just received a new M800 Green&Black from Pam at Oscar Braun because of the price. But I nearly went for the older model from Rick.
Good luck and elegant writing.

Rick has really nice stuff, but his prices are typically high.
I don't need it brought to working order, because if there is a problem I send it directly to Pelikan in Germany. Also, I want a used one that's been coddled by its owner, the way I coddle my pens. That way, I get a reasonable price from a fellow collector, and don't have to pay a middleman.
I don't care if the barrel is scratched, or what color it is, because I'll probably have a binde put on it anyway.
I don't think I'd like to pay more than $200 - that's what I've been paying for new ones, MIB on eBay - between 175 and 225.
And I'm sure I'll find one!
But thanks anyway for the tip.
Maybe if Rick has a post-Passover sale...
