It lives in this Waterman Hundred Year Pen, made c. 1943. I used to think the nib on a full-size Hundred Year Pen was obscenely large for the size of its pen, but I'm now ready to change my mind thanks to this incredible nib.

Hmmm, yes, that does look a little flexible. wink.gif

'Course it helps to have good handwriting.

Very nice! Is that nib typical of Hundred Year Pens?

In terms of its size, yes. But Waterman was offering nine different point styles at that time, and only three of them would be considered flexible. This pen's point is roughly equivalent to the style Waterman's 1920s/1930s nib color code had catalogued as Black.
