I know Chartpak will deal with modern Pelikans but can you also send them vintage ones for repair?

I have a nib unit for my 400NN that has split its plastic collar and while it still serves its purpose and writes well, I would like to get it fixed if possible.

Can they perform these repairs or does the board think there is someone else better able to do so? If so, whom would you recommend?

I know Rick Propas in California specializes in older Pelikans and does a grear job. However I think he is pretty busy.
