A 1935 Pelikan LE is my daily use pen.
It has the stock medium nib.
Would like something a little more esoteric than a medium nib,
but highly usable and relatively conservative in the thirst department.
All comments and suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
Mrdi

Have you looked at either John Mottishaw or Richard Binder's websites ? They both offer custom ground Pelikan nibs that you could use with your 1935 LE. I purchased a fine nib modified to have extra flexibility from both (for use with my own blue 1935 LE) The results were both great, though the nibs that I recieved have a different feel. With my samples, the nib from Mottishaw had a little more flex, but a broader line (closer to medium), whereas Richard's was more of a true fine. If you are not into flex, either could produce just about any exotic nib tipping.
I also hear very good reports about Greg Minuskin, Deb Kinney, Dillo Ang. I have had nibs and ink flow adjusted by the Dillo with good results, but have not purchased any new custom nibs from any of the latter.
Again the usual disclaimers, no relationship with any of the nibmeisters, just a happy customer:)
Good Luck !

I think you could have your M nib ground to a nice 0.6mm stub, shouldn't be too ink-intensive, should still be very easy to write with, but at the same time provide you with a bit of line variation.
If you'd like something a little wider, you might have to buy a new nib to be ground, or possibly do a nib swap with Chartpak and then have that nib modified. But I think what you are looking for is a stub.

For those interested, I also offer a vintage nib assembly to fit into these pens. I've done about 20 of these wth good success, but they are not cheap at about $125.00.
