Heya,
I just recieved a pen I won off ebay. The auction description called it a Sailor 1911 Oversize, and the photos showed a pen with blue plastic and white specks.
I've seen the Sailor Magellan mentioned in some places, including a review on FPN. I'm not sure if the pen I have here is the Magellan or not. The size is a bit smaller than I expected (I don't have any other Sailor pens to compare, but this is smaller than a Lamy 2000).
Photo attached.
My pen does not have the limited number imprint (which the one in reviews did have), and has a TIGP nib instead of gold.
Also wondering what the value of this is (just to make me happy if I got a good deal).

I think I watched this auction, or maybe a similar (?). I asked myself if this is a Frankenpen with a Magellan body and a TiGP nib. I don't think all Magellans were LEs. I didn't bid ...

Not sure about the limited edition part, just that the blue lapis Magellan featured in the FPN reviews had limited edition numbering.
I'm actually wondering about the size of the pen, it is smaller than I expected. I don't have a ruler on me right now, but I think it might be similar to a Pelikan M200 size pen.

If this was a while ago now, I think I watched it too.
You can compare with what Swisher had and has up, the price of Magellans and the price of replacement nib and section.
