Full Version: First Pelikan
I just bought my first Pelikan, a Souveran M405. It is wonderful. I filled it with Pelikan Violet ink (what a great spring color) and am using it everyday.
Nice looking pen and a good choice, I have several Pelikans including a couple of 400s, but none with silver trim, never really thought how good these looked with silver rather than gold trim.
I feel the temptation to buy one, but really must learn to resist (but maybe not for long. Pelikans are great pens I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come.

I'm loving the Pelikan violet right now as well. Great for Easter cards! And for Easter, I gave my wife a bottle of Pelikan brown. Looks like chocolate in the bottle, so I'd say it's appropriate, too.
Frankly Scarlet I give a d@*& and Pelikan's rule. 
I've really got to get me an X05, all my Pelikans except the Concorde have gold trim. What I'd like is an M605 blue stripes, smooth F nib. Or an M1,000,000 with solid diamond trim.
Congratulations on your first Pel! Lovely photograph. Black and violet sound scrumptious.
