I just took delivery of a Verge de France writing pad and envelopes, after doing some extensive research on the net.
While I'm happy with the paper itself, I would have thought that for around three times the price of something like Basildon Bond (which is nice paper, btw) you would at least get a blotting sheet and a rule guide. No such luxury.
The lines envelopes are nice though, even if you do have to lick them! (Even Basildon Bond has discovered self-sticking envelopes)

I remember getting that paper for a reasonable price years ago then for some reason the price jumped. So my expectations were much less when i bought it. G. Lalo has some boxed sets that do have blotting paper and writing guides.
