Hi all ... I have just picked up Ripple-Rose 52 V with solid gold hallmarked trim in pretty original condition but will a slight crack at the top of the clip.
I have found it in the 1925 catalogue on the last page but there is not much information as I think it was only just being introduced at the time. It has the double letter "Ripple" on it. Can anybody advise on period of production.
Thanks
John

F&S's blue book suggests 1928 as the introduction date for the rose ripple material. How long it was produced is another matter--possibly into the mid-1930s, I suppose. You could likely get a much better answer than this over at Lion & Pen!

Dan .... many thanks for the response. I have tried to join Lion and Pen in the past but have had problems with registration. I will try gain though as a few have told me that it is good re the history of pens.
Researching usual buys is my hobby at the moment!
Any further information or links would be appreciated. Its the first one I have found so I am keen to find any information.
