Couple of weeks ago, I found that our local Staples finally got the Rolla notebooks in. Bought one, but had not much reason to use it.

Over the last several days have used it extensively with three different pens..a Legacy II and Imperial and a no-name. Inks were a Sheaf cart with Skrip, PR Velvet black and the carts that came with the no-name.

The Rolla paper had horrendous bleed through with the Imp and the Legacy--both M-nibbed. The no-name, an italic with precious little iridium, bled, but not as much.

From what I am seeing, I ain't real impressed, and if the Rolla paper is similar to the Levenger paper used in the Circa system, I am damned sure glad I saved my money...
