Surely someone can guide me on this? I don't like my 51's loose in my drawer. I'd like to put them in an open pen tray. Simple, right? Not so, it seems! I've been to every local stationary / arts and crafts store that I can think of, and no pen trays. Even ebay has been unfruitful. Are there any good online sources? I am considering a 'slotter-box' from Go-pens, but was hoping for something nicer looking. a wood box with felt compartments?

If someone has such a thing that they'd like to part with, I'd certainly be willing to buy it. smile.gif

Thanks!

Hi Ryan,
Get a cigar box. Some of them are really gorgeous. Order the liners from gopens and cut it to size. Voila! perfect! tongue.gif

Look up in the Pen and Paper regular forum for a post on cogar box storage. Get the trays from go pens. I did this: 45 minutes later I had a nice box for my pens.

I made some trays, easy enough from 12mm MDF if you have a router and a 12mm / 0.5 in half round cutter. Cover them with felt and add a hardwood lip and maybe a divider - and that's it!

Each of mine is 15 x 9.5 ins and holds 22 pens, perfectly sized for a P51. I'll happily sell you some of my spares, though postage may be prohibitive if you are in the US, they are quite heavy..

I found a very nice and affordable pen tray at Joon.
