I just won another marbled grey desk pen. I think I got a pretty good deal on it to. Only thing is it needs a resac, any ideas of what size sac it might take. Here is the auction.

A size 16 will work in almost every Esterbrook with few exceptions.
Love those marbled desk pens!

Yeah after the price i paid for the red one, I was excited to get this one for that price. I have a feeling the seller didn't know what they had, they were pushing the pen holder more than the pen. Anyone know how many colors of marbled desk pens there are?

I have a silver, red, blue, brown, and all black just like the one shown. I'm guessing they came in the same assortment of colors as the Js. Someone will know for sure. I'm currently using the blue one at work on my desk (#2968 nib) in a grey base.
I am missing one of the silver trim rings between the barrel and taper if anyone has one available!
Good deal on the pen also!

Yep, you can get 'em in all six colors, same as the J's, and pastel colors with or without matching sections.

You have to wonder if Mr. Esterbrook had a grand scheme back in time.

Congratulations, Penguinmaster. You got a good deal! Coincidentally, I just picked one up last week only it's in the 8-ball (forgot the model number). It's my first one (in the wild) and got it dirt cheap (won't upstage you

). Fortunately the sac is still like new and works great. I rarely run into Pearlescent Esties with a bad sac. Mine looks like the J sized barrel. Came with a #9668 nib (General Writing). Would like to see pics of your others, particuarly the red.

I will post pics of both when I get the silver one. Only problem is my camera makes them look all out of focus, but we'll see if I can fix that! I have a few Estie's that need resacs or repairs of some sort so I'll probably order up the supplies to get them all fixed sometime soon. I personally like the 8-ball holders better, but we'll see how it looks with this holder that it's coming with. I gotta stop buying pen stuff though, my g/f is gonna kill me if she sees another pen show up somewhere!

Oh no, I added another one. I just won a green deskpen on ebay now. Looks in good condition too! Now to find a green base ;-) Here's the link if anyone wants to see it.

NOW you've gone and done it. You'll just have to get all the remaining colors now. Can't have three out of the six now can you.

Nice lot!

exactly...I figure the black should be easy to fine! HA! What other two do I need....blue and copper right? Then the stupid bases, anyone know how many colors the 8 ball bases came in (those are becoming my favorite)

How did it feel when you took that first step over the edge?
As for $9.00 to ship....that would cause me some personal grief
I shipped a vinatge camera to Canada about a month ago that I sold on E-bay and the total was about $6.00 which included insurance.

Yeah I thought about the shipping. But overall I'm getting the pen for a decent price at least I think. I've learned not to complain about shipping on eBay after having people it to me and realizing how frustrating it could be to be the seller. My thought is if your not willing to pay the shipping don't bid!
Oh and to stepping over the edge...once you admit your addiction it's much easier

Granted it took me a bit to realize it..ha

Hey, its double that to Canada - while the actual postage is very close to the same cost in reality...
That's a bit much... Y'all won't have much foreign competition I'll bet...

Hey, that Elevator looks familiar!

Nice Looking too!
Lots of different 8 ball colors, don't know the actual number, but I would guess around a dozen or so.
