Hello and welcome!
I see many before me have noted that you are
not an addict. I feel there is absolutely no reason for me to add mention that you are
not an addict. In fact, the whole matter of becoming or achieving the status of
"addict" (which you are
not) is now, simply, irrevocably, and quite enjoyably for you, beyond your control.
Seeing that you are
not an addict, I would advise registering, so you can attend regular meetings of the FPN "Who? Me?
Addict? Never!"
Twelve Step Pen Addiction Program. That way, if you are
not an addict now, you will surely become one before the second meeting convenes. Of course, FPN never sleeps so...

Enrollment in the Program is quick and painless. In fact, you're already done. It is a "quick like a

" sign-up system. Should you persuade a member of your family or any of your friends, you will earn the coveted of Meister
Addict & Nibs award. That is, a Fountain Pen M.A.N.
Of course, you can never escape now that you've taken the first fateful step of joining. You are one of us now and there's no going back. You could try going back but you'd have to start using BIC ball points exclusively and that is
not an addiction you'd want to nurture any time soon. Or ever.
We're looking forward to hearing about all of your pens, inks, and even non-fountain pen related fun stuff you like to do. Glad to have you here.
The Twelve Steps of the Program here at FPN is simple. It might dent your wallet, but it's all good fun. Full participation only takes a few simple steps. Or twelve. Tour the site often, buy 12 pens that intrigue you. Then...

Repeat the tour. Read the posts. Write some posts.

Great moniker! I keep my last name largely unknown in these parts for similar reasons. It began when the Rector's wife botched pronouncing it, turning it into something similar to yours, without the tasteful, whispered hint at a four letter word, when speaking to my grandmother. In Mrs. Rector's outside voice...
