Took delivery of 3 pens today got from ebay. I only bid because of the conway stewart pen, need advice unsure.gif Advertised as a conway irredescent, very small 4 1/2" capped, beautiful irredescent red colour, imprint on barrel Conway Stewart 570 then below that holder foreign unsure.gif . Theres no CS symbol on the clip and the lever is plain and straight, is this right?? The nib looks very broad and is a 14ct CS. What have i got????

I used to have one of these and it had a very nice nib on it. It's one of the later Dinkies, hence the Foreign on the barrel. Mine had the clip that you mention without the CS logo and I've also seen photos of this model with the CS clip. You'll find both versions of the clip shown on Johnathan's site.

Yes thanks for the link, thats the version.

I can't add much more, except that the ones with the proper CS clip look much classier!

Also look out for the few matching biros. I'm not sure how many of these have escaped but they do make a nice set with the matching fountain pen, though the picture here is terrible, sorry!
