Full Version: Hi from Philadelphia
I'm an adjunct assistant professor at a Philadelphia university. I have five pens: two gold plated steel nibbed pens (Viconti and Sheaffer) and three 14 ct. gold nibbed pens (Conklin Symetrik, Pelikan Souveran 600, and a Hero 166). I plan to add to the collection over time.

I have this picture of my gold nib pens if FPN will let me post it.
Can someone tell me how to get in contact with a Philly collectors group? My Dad would like to attend some of the meetings. He'll be coming from South Jersey.

I've provided some service for Phila Univ couple of years ago. It was a very pleasant experience to walk down the School House Lane on a not-so-busy Fall afternoon.
I am from Penn, so I really appreciated the very different atmosphere over there.

I'm curious as to how my Hero compares to other fine point nibs. A lunch of playing with pens would be fun

I doubt you will get this, but just off the chance that you might, do you know where I could purchase a Hero 166? It's the FP with the music notes on the casing and fine nib, correct? I've been looking all over for one but haven't found it yet. Thanks!
