The color is gorgeous. I wonder why it's called the Sunset pen, though.
And just out of curiosity, why do you place an "nm" before the photos you post?

Sun design on the state flag of New Mexico matches the sun design on the clip?

As ever, great photos of an interesting pen. I really enjoyed the view of the marbled barrel and cap through the trim slots.
There were some comments that the pen wasn't a good writer, which is why I passed on the great Levenger sell off.
How does yours write?

Actually it writes quite well although the ink flow is a bit generous for me.
I had the nib modified by Richard B. It's now a EF-F cursive Italics. For the price I paid, I would say this was a very good buy. It was worthwhile to get the nib customized.
Thanks

I wondered that, too
I thought it had something to do with needing text in the reply box when posting (on Pentrace.net's message board, I think you can even just hit the space bar on your computer keyboard and that will qualify as "text"). Can one post an attachment without text here on FPN?
Lovely pen, J-F-O! I love the sunburst design on the clip

I saw this pen for sale in the "Marketplace" so I have a question about the Rollerball version for anyone out there. I also posted the same question in the posting in the Marketplace, so please forgive my redundancy, but since there is not a "Levenger" forum, and this is my only Levenger pen, I'm just looking for help...
I have this exact same pen in a rollerball (hey... I receivied it as a gift). I've thought of keeping it on my desk for those people who say "nice pen, can I try it" about my fountain pen(s), but I actually have one for that already. Seeing this posting makes me think that I would love to trade my RB for something of equal value, or just sell it outright so I can get something I'd actually use.
Can ANYONE tell me the value of the rollerball? Same color and size. (I know some people feel that rollerball's have no value, so with that said, hopefully no one will repeat it).
Please PM me if you know. I may even offer it right here in the "Marketplace," but I know that since it's a rollerball there wouldn't be much interest.
