So I couldn't pass by this really odd 180.
It is a special version made for the fashion house Pucci, I believe in 1975 but I would love to hear anything anyone can add to this story.
It is a clipless purse pen in brushed stainless steel with 22K GP band and this one came with a leather pouch with 'MJs Parker' and 'by Pucci' embossed on it.
I had not seen one of these before and felt compelled to add it to the collection. No sooner did I accomplish that than I saw a matching BP for sale, which of course I was then obliged to pick up so I'd have a matched pair (alas, sans pouch for the BP). It will make an interesting item for SWMBO to take to pen club meetings, at least. Has anyone seen many of these?

PS - oddly, I thought. the cap does not contain an inner shell that would allow it to be posted, so Ms Parker had to presumably hold the cap in other hand, pouch perhaps in teeth and write with the remaining hand.
Did Parker go around promoting this sort of thing or did the businesses like Pucci come to them and ask for a custom pen, I wonder?
