I have just ordered a Duofold International. Apart from the size, I am wondering what other differences there are between these two versions of the Duofold? I ordered black with gold trim, fine nib.

The International has a narrower body than the Centennial. Closed length is 130mm as opposed to 136mm for the Centennial. It also has a smaller nib.

I have an international, and I like its fit in my hand (that of a mid-sized male). My wife, who is petite, likes mine so much that we've just ordered her one, and I'm looking at a second color.

The size of the diameter varies between the centennial or the international.

Many thanks. I think I'd read somewhere the ink flow system was different too. I've ordered a fine. What is the flow like anyway? Is this a wet or dry pen? I'm thinking I should have ordered platinum but am sure the gold finish will be nice too..

It's a beautifully writing pen. Not too dry, not too wet. Smooth and stiff and consistent

Feels great to write with, and you'll be convinced you're getting your money's worth

Ink flow system is the same - no differences. Both cartridge/converter system. The Centennial is merely physically bigger. I personally like the International size better because I like compact pens

Thanks for the replies. For everyone's interest I thought I'd post this information I got from penbox.co.uk: "Each unique, acrylic Parker Duofold pen is complemented with 23K gold plated trim, and an 18K gold nib highlighted with platinum. The larger Centennial is fitted with twin-channelled ink feed and collector system. Internationals are fitted with a single-channelled ink feed and collector system. Filling is via ink cartridge or ink bottle with the Deluxe piston fill converter. " Apparently the ink feed system is different in the International version. Still I can't wait to receive mine!
