Hi everyone!!!!
I love month ends coz thats the time my salary gets credited into my account and a get a chance to buy my favourite pen.......
I just walked into a local premium pen store today with all intensions to buy a waterman charleston but to my surprise I found that charleston line has been discontinued

. I had seen one ivory charleston in a department stores earlier and enquired if they had a black GT, but they didn't have one in stock. So I decided to go to this pen store to get it if they had one. Since it was discontinued I decided to browse through some of the other brands....(Omas, Parker, Sheaffer, Pelikan, aurora, MontBlanc, Sailor, Cross, etc). The Sailor caught my eye at once because of its gleeming gold nib (14k) and black barrels. I asked the sales person to show it to me and I liked it from the first moment

. I even asked him to show me a pelikan but i was not keen on getting one since I already have a M200 and an M400 was out of budget. The MontBlancs looked good but were too over-priced for me, no doubt they are of exceptionally good quality. I finally decided on the Sailor and asked him to pack it up for me. And I walked out as a proud owner of what I feel, a truely amazing pen.
I want to know what you guys think about the pen since it was a spontaneous buy for me. Usually I do quite a lot of research and then decide whether or not to buy a particular pen. If the charleston was available I would have definitely picked it up without a second thought.
Has anyone used a Sailor? If yes how has the experience been? The dealer gave me a lifetime warranty and assured that the pen would not give any problems. How is the service of Sailor?
Please clarify my queries.......
Thanks and Regards,
Steve
