Hmmmmm..

My name is Avery A. Hise and I'm an addict. I've been collecting fountain pens for a couple years now, have about 50 or so. The "or so" are mostly my kid's pens although I claim them for counting purposes.

I like Omas inks but have a little of everything (almost 30 bottles now).

Well, now the the circle is complete! Since this site was formed to fill the void when RS was down for a while there are a lot of RS'ers here. Having Mr. RS join us is an honor!



That is funny. I never thought about it, but I count some of my kids pens as "mine". The pens they got as a gift from Aunt Rebecca (really my aunt) are "theirs". The one's I buy them or give them from my collection are "mine".

Though I spend most of my "pen time" here on FPN, it has always been and remains my philosophy that you really can't spread the pen community too thin. Everyone finds their niche when you have multiple choices. And the truly addicted will find *a niche* in every forum. So, thank you Avery, for saying hello and again for being the inspiration for FPN as well as for keeping RS a living and thriving pen community.
