Hello everybody!

I'm brand new to the forum, having just recently discovered it. I am not a "seasoned" fountain pen aficionado, but I appreciate the beauty and workmanship, and have some small experience with them. I am a hobbyist woodworker, and was recently commissioned by an acquaintance to make him several pens from a favorite wood of his. The components were low-end commercially available stuff, but when I tried the finished product, I was hooked! Now, I want to learn everything I can about them - and it seems I have found a wonderful place to do so!

Hopefully, I will be able to contribute some small amount at the same time.

Cheers!

You could run away and pretend you never heard of this place, you have time, its not too late.

In case you decide to stay.

Welcome! We're glad you're here.

I echo (echo, e c h o rolleyes.gif) what john55 and others said, and would really appreciate it if you'd post some pics of your pens.

Always a great day to view beautiful pens. And, of course respond to the image. drool.gif

No Wolverine1, I don't believe that we are related, despite the surname. Did he once teach at Harvard too? I am vaguely familiar with a Prof. R. Bushman from there?

As to photots, I've only recently become the owner of a digital camera (Christmas gift!), and it seems that my photography is worse than my woodworking! biggrin.gif

Once I figure out how to get a photo up on the forum, I will post the couple photos that I do have.

Thanks again eveybody!
